How To Construct A Wall Shelf From Ice-Cream Sticks?

Materials we need are ice-cream sticks, Akfix 705 Fast Adhesive and Akfix Black Spray Paint. 

We shall be placing the ice-cream sticks on top of each other and affix them from the corners by using Akfix 705 Fast Adhesive. First of all, we spray on one of the sticks with spray activator and then applying the gel adhesive at intervals and fix them in place by pressing the two together slightly. Adhesion process shall be completed in seconds. What is to be attended here is that the spray activator and gel adhesive are not to be applied to the same stick. It would be adequate to spray the activator only once to the other surface that gel is not applied to. We continue with this operation until the thickness of the sticks reach 6 to 7 rows. 

After realization of the adhesion process of the sticks, now it is time for painting. We preferred black color, but you are free to choose any one from amongst the unlimited color alternatives provided by Akfix Spray Paint. Please be sure that before using the spray paint, the surface we shall be painting is perfectly dry. Then we shake and stir Akfix Spray Paint for at least 3 minutes. After stirring process is completed, we spray the paint from a distance of 25 cm. You could possibly realize the painting process in 2 to 3 layers until the desired color shade is attained. After painting is finished, we wait for at least 1 to 2 hours for drying-up and curing. After curing, our wall shelf is ready for use. 

We are free to use this work we have prepared by using only ice-cream sticks, either as a bookshelf or for other decorative purposes.
