Acrylic Duct Seal
Akfix AC590 is a high-quality, plasto-elastic, solvent free sealant based on acrylic dispersion, specially developed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) applications.
Properties
- Easy to apply and clean
- Non corrosive towards metals
- Can be applied with a brush
- Low odour and solvent free
- Very good adhesion on galvanised and stainless steel
- Remains permanently flexible
- Over-paintable
- Colour-fast and water-proof after curing
Application Areas
- Suitable for sealing metal to metal joints to prevent air leaks in airconditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and air distribution systems.
- All types of HVAC duct systems including sheet metal, duct board and flexible ducts
